Yorktown offers many recreational opportunities that enhance the community's quality of life. Various festivals and events take place on a regular basis in downtown Yorktown and at the many parks. Yorktown is home for Munciana Volleyball, a perenniel contender on the national stage for youth volleyball programs. A variety of athletic programs attract families to our small town, where Saturdays in the park rooting for the home team take center field.
